EBC CONCEPT LAB @ the San Jose BioCenter – Now available

Cleantech scientists now have an affordable space to move their discoveries to the real world: The EBC Concept Lab@ the BioCenter.

The Environmental Business Cluster (EBC)'s Concept Lab is a cost-effective, value-added entry point for cleantech entrepreneurs seeking to prove out their concept. Partnering with its sister organization, the San Jose BioCenter, the EBC, has commissioned a concept lab that offers a comprehensive offering for as little as $500/month. This lab space is equipped with:

  • a fume hood
  • bench space
  • centralized gas/vacuum/RODI water
  • storage
  • emergency power
  • emergency shower/eyewash
  • high speed internet
  • shared access to more than $5 million worth of common equipment in the core research areas
  • operations and business services
  • introductions to key corporate partners and targeted investors

The EBC Concept Lab can get you up and running the same day with access to over 16,0000sf of shared core labs, and a specialized operations team at the BioCenter. Ranked as one of the best incubators in the world, the San Jose BioCenter continues to fuel innovation across energy and health by offering a state-of-the-art facility equipped with wet laboratory, office space and common equipment/infrastructure that provides business and facility services—enabling companies to successfully start, grow and scale.
