Overview
Leveraging the government as a funder and/or partner can be a powerful competitive advantage and a way to circumvent the traditional venture financing process. However, for many resource constrained start-ups it can be a massive diversion and not worth the time and effort required to be successful. In this workshop you will learn about formulating a strategy when working with government at the local, state and federal level, how to identify and evaluate resources available when applying for grants, and an overview of the grant-making process including best practices that will increase probability for success. Our workshops are candid, interactive and informal. We want you to walk away with the real story behind how things work so you can make it happen yourself.
