The Meet with Series is a partnering and coaching series for entrepreneurs. The goal of the program is to facilitate meetings between cleantech entrepreneurs and investors, customers and potential partners. The EBC Meet with Series has featured Physic Ventures, PG&E, Alloy Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Mohr Davidow Ventures, Rockport Capital and now Robert Bosch Venture Capital (RBVC)!
Robert Bosch Venture Capital (RBVC) is the corporate venture company of the Robert Bosch, one of the largest private companies worldwide with more than 45 billion Euros of sales. Founded in 1886, Bosch is a leading global supplier of automotive, industrial technology, consumer goods and building technology. RBVC invests in start-up companies either directly or via venture capital funds on a worldwide basis. Investment focus: Technology companies along the line of Bosch current and future business. RBVC provides capital for minority stakes in start-ups from early to expansion stage.
In this session, Directors from Robert Bosch Venture Capital, will first explain how you can work with them, and what they look for in a company. After the presentation, each approved attendee will receive a one-on-one meeting with a Director from Bosch.

Dr. Cyril Vancura, Investment Director, Bosch Venture Capital
Cyril Vancura is an Investment Director based in Palo Alto. He focuses on finding investment opportunities for RBVC in North America, technical evaluations, and technical due diligence. Before joining RBVC, Cyril was at the Reseach and Technology Center of Robert Bosch in Palo Alto, where he worked on novel MEMS processes, power harvesting for autonomos systems, and photovoltaic technologies. Prior to this, Cyril conducted research in the field of CMOS-based MEMS sensors for biological and chemical applications during his Ph.D. thesis. Cyril holds a Ph.D. and a diploma (masters) in physics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland.
