The Meet with Series is a partnering and coaching series for entrepreneurs. The goal of the program is to facilitate meetings between cleantech entrepreneurs and investors, customers and potential partners. The EBC Meet with Series has featured Physic Ventures, PG&E, Alloy Ventures, Khosla Ventures, and now Rockport Capital!
After the presentation, each approved attendee will receive a one-on-one meeting with members of the Rockport Capital team.
Attendees must apply and be approved to attend the one-on-one meeting!
This is a service provided by the Environmental Business Cluster, and as such, the registration fee is charged by the Environmental Business Cluster for this event.

Abe Yokell , Principal, Rockport Capital
Abe's interest in startups began after spending a summer at a venture-backed diagnostics company as a business development intern. He subsequently joined Analysis Group, an economic and management consultancy. Abe then joined RockPort as an Associate, having previously interned at RockPort for a summer, and is active in all aspects of RockPort's activities. He has worked on deal teams for investments in solar, water, transportation, green buildings, the smart grid, efficiency, wind, lighting, and advanced materials, among other sectors. He helped spearhead the opening of RockPort's Menlo Park office, and is a frequent panelist and judge at industry conferences and business plan competitions. Abe graduated from the University of Pennsylvania where he studied Economics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Kevin Kopczynski , Senior Associate,Rockport Capital
Early in his career, Kevin was a Consultant in the Technology and Innovation practice at Arthur D. Little, where he assisted clients on new product development initiatives in consumer products, energy, and healthcare. Prior to joining RockPort, Kevin held a variety of operating and senior technical positions in a medical device startup that grew from four to forty employees. During that time, he also obtained $1.2 million in SBIR funding for the company. In addition to his technology and start-up experiences, Kevin worked for Lazard in mergers, acquisitions and strategic advisory. He currently serves on the Board of Ascension Industries, a closely held manufacturing company serving the industrial and energy markets. Kevin earned his BSE in mechanical engineering from Princeton University, an MS in engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from UC Berkeley, where he was a Venture Fellow and recipient of the Appel Award for leadership in entrepreneurship.
